The NSWERS Executive Council is led by the Council President, Dr. Leah Barrett, President of Northeast Community College, representing all six Nebraska community college areas. Additional members of the NSWERS Executive Council include: Dr. Brian Maher, Commissioner of Education (Vice President); Dr. Paul Turman, Chancellor of the Nebraska State College System (Secretary/Treasurer); and Dr. Jeffrey Gold, President of the University of Nebraska (Member). The NSWERS Executive Council meets quarterly.
