Sam Kapoor was named Assistant Director for Database/ETL Development at the Nebraska Statewide Workforce & Educational Reporting System (NSWERS) in March 2021.
Kapoor’s work experience includes over twenty-three years in the information technology field.
As Assistant Director for Database/ETL Development, Kapoor leads the data architecture, data modeling, data management, and ETL initiatives for the NSWERS organization. This includes ensuring effective and secure data storage, implementation of business intelligence tools, and successful data integration with all partner organizations.
Kapoor is passionate about his profession and holds many certificates in the field including Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), and ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.
Kapoor earned a bachelor of engineering degree in electronics from Punjabi University and a master’s degree in software engineering from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.

My desire to improve. I identify where I have weaknesses and constantly work to improve.

I started exercising more.

I’ve lived in two countries (United States of America and India) and two states (Minnesota and California).
